The idea
- Events in the city
- Activities
- Things to do
- One line a visitor can read
Culture City is a guide to events, activities, and things to do in a city. The public site introduces that and offers an install.
The page is short on purpose: the name, what the product is for, and a button to install. The live product is the city guide, not a long marketing article.
Someone opening the site can see the idea immediately and install from the same screen.

An install button
A short first screen
A named product
A city guide fails if the first screen is a brochure. The visitor needs the idea, and a way to install, without a long explanation.
Events are scattered across the city
Activities are hard to scan
Install is a separate hunt
The first screen says too much or too little
The page had to name the product, say it is for events and things to do, and put install on that same screen.
A visitor understands the product before they install.
The install action is on the first screen, next to what the guide is for.
Events and activities named up front
Install on the same screen
A short page instead of a long pitch
