Introduction: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud can all host a normal web product. The useful question is which one your team, or your vendor, can run on a Tuesday night. A second cloud can wait until a customer contract requires it.
1. Follow the skills you already have
A team that already administers Microsoft 365 often starts more calmly on Azure. A team with existing AWS bills and IAM users should stay there. A new logo is not a reason to switch.
2. Check the one constraint that is real
- A customer who requires data in a named region.
- A product you already pay for that only runs well on one cloud.
- A compliance review that names a provider.
3. Keep the application portable where it is cheap
Containers and a normal database make a later move less painful. Chasing perfect portability on day one, across three consoles, slows the first release.
Choose the cloud someone on the team can explain. Add another only when a contract demands it.
4. Conclusion
EliteSigma works on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and recommends the one the account can actually operate.
